In February 2025, the Nordic World Ski Championships return to Trondheim and Norway. Thousands of children’s drawings has inspired the colorful official logo for the event that puts sustainability high on the agenda.

The visual profile shows Trondheim 2025’s commitment to the ski festival, sustainability, inclusion, and diversity.

– The colorful logo clearly shows the world a future-oriented championship. The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2025 is founded on community and sustainability, with a clear vision of using the championship to leave a legacy for the ski sport and society. Our visual design excellently communicates our vision, says Haakon Jensen, Chief of Marketing at Trondheim 2025.

Children from all over Norway have inspired the logo design process through a World Ski Championships drawing competition. A recurring theme in the contributions was the earth and people holding hands, which testifies to an engaged generation that cares about climate and togetherness. These are values and future visions that the main partners of the World Ski Championships support.

– The logo symbolizes values that are very important also for Coop. Through 59 cooperatives we represent 2 million co-owners across the country, and there is no doubt that they love skiing. We are looking forward to the world championships on home soil and want to contribute to making this an unforgettable championship, says Bent Aamotsmo, acting CEO of Coop Norway, the title sponsor of the event.

For Stora Enso, the presenting sponsor of Trondheim 2025, the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships demonstrate a tangible way for a world class event to be held that actively works to reduce the GHG impact of the gathering by promoting the usage and benefits of using fossil-free and renewable products.

– Together with the International Ski Federation and the local organizing committee, we are working toward a sustainable future for our future generations. This logo captures that commitment and serves as a reminder to us of the importance of our work in renewables, says Annica Bresky, President and CEO of Stora Enso.
