The campaign “ÆRLIG TALT” features prominent figures like Therese Johaug, Trond Nystad, and Max Hauke to prevent doping before the World Championships in Trondheim.
ÆRLIG TALT is a collaboration between Anti-Doping Norway, Ski-VM 2025, and The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS). Through honest stories from individuals affected by doping, Anti-Doping Norway aims to foster positive attitudes and challenge people to take concrete actions to protect clean and healthy sports.
“A championship on home soil is a great opportunity to raise awareness about anti-doping efforts. The goal is to protect clean athletes and increase the knowledge within the sports community,” says Ella Gjømle Berg, advisor at Anti-Doping Norway and former cross-country skier.
The WSC organization looks forward to hosting the biggest Norwegian celebration of the decade in Granåsen from February 26 to March 9, 2025. To prepare for the event, all staff have completed the “Clean Athlete” learning program. At the same time, Ski-VM supports the ÆRLIG TALT campaign, which highlights an important issue.
“We believe it is important that Anti-Doping Norway uses the World Championships in Trondheim to spotlight the doping problem. Nothing is more damaging to a championship than doping,” says World Championship Director Åge Skinstad.
