Media invitation: Coop FIS Cross-Country World Cup, Trondheim 2023

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to Granåsen and the Coop FIS Cross-Country World Cup on December 15-17, 2023. We look forward to seeing you all at our state-of-the-art venue. We aim to provide excellent working conditions and facilities, building your excitement to return to Trondheim for the World Championships 2025.

Accreditation journalists and photographers

Media representative must apply for accreditation by the deadline of 4th December 2023.

TV, radio and streaming

Accreditation for TV, radio, and online media (video), production and online companies will be authorized by Infront Italy who holds the international rights to FIS World Cup Skiing. The event is broadcasted by NRK as host. Accreditation requests for international TV, radio production and streaming services for filming the event must be addressed direct to rights holders Infront:

Accommodation

We are happy to help with media accommodation. Our partner Scandic Hotel offers a nice deal at Scandic Bakklandet Hotel, in Trondheim city center. Please send an e-mail to receive a booking code and book hotel rooms at accomodation@trondheim2025.no

Press Center

The press center will hold workspace for the media and is located in the arena building in Granåsen Ski Centre. Opening hours will be from Thursday 14th December to Sunday 17th December. Further information will be provided to accredited media. For questions, please contact Head of Media operations planning, Gro Eide, mobile +47 900 29 009 gro.eide@skiforbundet.no (Tor Arve Hegerberg will be your Head of Media during the World Cup in Granåsen).

Photographers

It will be marked photo zones at the Granåsen venue. Photo accreditation and photo vests are required at all times. You can pick up your accreditation at the accreditation office at the Granåsen venue building. Photo vests are to be picked up at the same location by paying a deposit of NOK 200/Euros 20.

Opening hours Wed 13th – Sun 17th Dec at 08:00 am to 20:00 pm. You can pick up your accreditation at the accreditation office at the Granåsen venue building. Accreditations must be obtained in person.

Transportation to Granåsen Venue

The Trondheim 2025 organization aims to be the most sustainable World Ski Championships of all time. Shuttle buses will transport accredited media on a regular basis from selected hotels to the Granåsen Venue.

Unfortunately, there will be no parking at the Granåsen venue.
