Team Information

The organizing committee is honored to invite all national ski associations to the FIS Nordic World Ski Championship in Trondheim. The races will be held from February 26th to March 9th.

Dear athletes and teams

We warmly welcome our competing athletes and your official teams from all over the world. Trondheim is hosting the World Ski Championships, and the LOC is honored to host and serve you during the championship.

Our overall ambition for Trondheim 2025 is to be the most sustainable WSC ever. We live in a world where climate change is alarming. With your support, we are working hard to set a new standard and be a role model for future championships that will be even better than us—and better for our world.

Welcome to Trondheim

Trondheim 2025 is the biggest sports event in Norway this decade. It is organized for the second time in our city, the last time in 1997. With its 215,000 inhabitants, Trondheim is the third biggest city in Norway. The city was founded in 997 by Viking King Olav Tryggvason, who is now erected on top of a pillar at the city square. This square will serve as the Medal Plaza during the championship in 2025.
